Burke-Gilman Run In The Rain

I haven’t been to the trail in quite a while. I was supposed to meet my friend for a run, but she got confused about the time change. I ran by myself, which was good. I hated getting out there in the rain, but it was good to have some time to think. I have been stuck on the treadmill for a couple of months. I noticed the beautiful leaves changing colors. There were a few lonely runners and groups of runners with dogs out on the trail. It was a bit windy, but it felt good to feel my feet on the gravel and dirt. I put on a fresh sweatshirt and retreated to Tully’s after my run to do some work on the computer. It’s nice getting free WiFi with your coffee. Maybe I burned off the Halloween candy????

Wow, I must be in bad shape or I overdid it on the Halloween candy last night. I have to admit that I ate 6 mini candy bars! I had horrible nightmares. I don’t know if there’s a correlation….The other excuse I have is that I ran up through Woodland Park, which is pretty hilly….
