Time Off To Recover

I’m taking the week off work and off training. I plan on taking walks with Murphy and that’s about it. This is hard for me because I am one of those people who can’t sit still. My closets will be more organized I suppose. This is a good thing because I am having house guests in a couple of weeks.

If you get bored, you could always make a start on our house too. Phil was in tidying mode about a year back, and when I offered him the fantastic opportunity of tidying a genuine British office, he started going on about “send airfare”. No idea what he meant by that, but anyway, he never turned up . . . I’m sure you’re a whole lot more reliable!

Of course, you could just take it easy for a week. ;-)

enjoy the down time, it’s as important as the training and almost harder to do!

You deserve the time off! Hey, congrats on your participation in Boston. That is an amazing achievement! It is a great marathon, so much fun as a supporter, I used to live in a town on the route! Your story inspires me and makes me think that some day………..

LOL. This weekend was the first vacation I took in years. It was my son’s birthday and we went to Disneyland in 102 degree heat and walked all day :-)
