Tired Of The Treadmill
I was planning on running by the lake today in Kirkland. I changed my mind when the rain and wind started up. I met Michelle and we co-miserated on the treadmill.
I was still tired from my 15 miles on Sunday. I warmed up for about 2 miles and brought my pace up to 8 min/per mile for the last 3.5. I didn’t feel like going any faster or longer. My left ankle is a little tender. I’m not sure why.

I could feel a difference during my ortho follow-up appointment, and I obviously have more muscle in my thighs and hips than I had before. No more ‘clickety-clack’ as I bend my leg. Here and there I wonder if I feel soreness, but I think it’s been caused by the leg press and not running… so I am going to cut out the leg press for a while. I am starting back slowly with running, just moving up to 2.5 mile runs outside. Bit by bit, I’ll get there!
