12 Hilly Miles + 1 Mile Cool Down With Puppy
Michelle and I ran from my house down to the Burke-Gilman Trail. Our goal was to get in some serious hill work for Boston and for The Western States 100. Michelle and I averaged a 9 minute mile, completing our 12 mile run in 1:48.14.
Murphy and I did a cool down mile, his first run! He is 11 weeks old. He made it 1 mile with his new leash. I bought a leash that goes around the waist. He kept getting his leg caught, so we had to keep stopping and fixing it. We also had 2 potty stops. Our run was 16:13, a little slow for me, but lots of fun for him!

I’m feeling okay. My glutes and hamstrings are a bit fatigued, but no joint pain. I agree, that was good training.
